Job Summary
The Registration Supervisor ensures the smooth, efficient, and high-quality operation of a Registration Center. This role combines leadership, operational oversight, and technical support to manage a team of Registration Officers, maintain equipment, enforce protocols, and guarantee data integrity and security.
Key Responsibilities
Team & Operational Management:
- Lead daily morning briefings and end-of-day debriefings with the registration team.
- Supervise and support Registration Officers, ensuring courteous conduct and adherence to all guidelines.
- Manage the overall registration workflow to ensure a smooth experience for registrants.
- Act as the first point of contact for registrant concerns and grievances, providing resolution or escalation.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Conduct final verification of documents and "sign off" on all registrations involving biometric exceptions.
- Perform rigorous quality checks on all registration packets at the end of each day before upload to the central database.
- Ensure strict adherence to all registration guidelines, policies, and data security protocols.
- Verify that every registrant receives a duly signed acknowledgement slip.
Technical & Logistics Oversight:
- Ensure all registration equipment (computers, biometric devices, printers, and scanners) is functional at the start of each day.
- Manage the daily charging, security, and shutdown of all kits and equipment.
- Provide first-level technical support for the registration client and hardware, liaising with NIDP IT for advanced issues.
- Ensure the center is always ready for operation as per the official readiness checklist.
Backup Function:
- Perform the duties of a Registration Officer during peak periods or staff shortages.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in data capture, team support, or IT-enabled field operations.
- Minimum age of 20 years or above.
- Applicants must possess either a Fayda ID or a valid/formal registration number
- Proven proficiency in computer systems.
- Fluency in English, Amharic, and the local regional language (speaking, reading, and writing).
