Job Summary

The Audit/Compliance Officer will support operational audits, review procurement and inventory processes, and ensure compliance with internal policies and healthcare regulations. The role includes identifying risks, preparing audit reports, conducting inspections, and following up on corrective actions.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Accounting, Finance, Business, Procurement, Pharmacy, Medicine, or Public Health) with 2 years of audit or compliance experience. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of procurement and compliance systems are required. Healthcare audit experience is an advantage.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Assist in planning and executing operational and compliance audits.
  • Review operational processes, procurement, inventory, and service delivery systems.
  • Assess compliance with internal policies, healthcare regulations, and applicable laws.
  • Evaluate procurement and supply chain processes for efficiency and compliance.
  • Identify operational risks, inefficiencies, and non-compliance issues.
  • Prepare audit working papers and draft audit reports.
  • Conduct field inspections and verify inventory and operational records.
  • Support follow-up audits to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Maintain proper documentation of audit findings and evidence.
  • Assist in improving operational audit tools and procedures.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
About You

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Procurement & Supply Chain, Pharmacy, Medicine, or Public Health.
  • Minimum of three years & above in audit or related fields; healthcare sector audit experience is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of procurement laws, inventory management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer literacy and attention to detail.
  • Audit or Compliance experience are mandatory.
