delivering high-quality and affordable healthcare services to both local and international communities.
Established in January 2015, WHC has served over 120,000 patients. The center operates 24/7 and is staffed by
experienced Ethiopian, American, and visiting physicians across subspecialties such as cardiology, neurology, and
oncology.
We are currently expanding into a multi-specialty institution on our journey toward becoming a premier tertiary care hospital and medical school. To safeguard and strengthen our daily operations during this exciting phase of growth, we are looking for a dedicated and highly skilled Financial Auditor to drive our financial integrity from the front lines.
Job Description: Financial Auditor

Reports To:Finance Director
Location: Addis Ababa
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing financial audit plans and programs.
- Conduct audit fieldwork by reviewing financial records, transactions, and supporting documents.
- Evaluate financial controls, accounting processes, and compliance with IFRS and internal policies.
- Identify financial risks, discrepancies, and control weaknesses, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare audit working papers and draft audit reports.
- Verify accuracy of financial statements and accounting records.
- Ensure compliance with financial laws, regulations, and organizational procedures.
- Support senior auditors in completing audit assignments within deadlines.
- Participate in follow-up audits to ensure implementation of recommendations.
- Maintain proper audit documentation and evidence.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requiered qualifications & Skill:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in audit-related work; experience in audit firms is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in Peachtree and financial reporting systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Computer literacy and attention to detail.
