Washington Healthcare Plc (WHC) is a specialized secondary care facility based in Addis Ababa, committed to
delivering high-quality and affordable healthcare services to both local and international communities.
Established in January 2015, WHC has served over 120,000 patients. The center operates 24/7 and is staffed by
experienced Ethiopian, American, and visiting physicians across subspecialties such as cardiology, neurology, and
oncology.
We are currently expanding into a multi-specialty institution on our journey toward becoming a premier tertiary care hospital and medical school. To safeguard and strengthen our daily operations during this exciting phase of growth, we are looking for a dedicated and highly skilled Operational & Compliance Auditor to drive our financial integrity .

Job Description: Operational & Compliance Auditor
Required No: One (1)
Department:Operation
Reports To:Operation Director
Location: Addis Ababa
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in planning and executing operational and compliance audits.
Review operational processes, procurement, inventory, and service delivery systems.
Assess compliance with internal policies, healthcare regulations, and applicable laws.
Evaluate procurement and supply chain processes for efficiency and compliance.
Identify operational risks, inefficiencies, and non-compliance issues.
Prepare audit working papers and draft audit reports.
Conduct field inspections and verify inventory and operational records.
Support follow-up audits to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Maintain proper documentation of audit findings and evidence.
Assist in improving operational audit tools and procedures.
Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requiered Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Procurement &
Supply Chain, Pharmacy, Medicine, or Public Health.
Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in audit or related fields; healthcare sector audit experience is an advantage.
Strong understanding of procurement laws, inventory management, and compliance frameworks.
Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Computer literacy and attention to detail.
