Planning Lead
Role Purpose
The Planning Lead is responsible for orchestrating the center planning, resource allocation, and logistical operations for a large-scale registration initiative. This role ensures seamless registration workflows by working together with regional operations, forecasting deployment needs, designing staff training programs, and proactively managing risks to guarantee successful execution.
Key Accountabilities
- Center & Resource Planning: Design comprehensive site deployment plans, master timelines, and resource allocation schedules to ensure operational readiness.
- Forecasting & Contingency: Lead demand forecasting, data modeling, and scenario planning to meet key registration milestones.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with regional Operations Heads and coordinators to synchronize planning with local ground realities.
- Capacity Building: Create and implement end-to-end training strategies for field trainers, supervisors, and officers.
- Infrastructure & Transition: Develop infrastructure transition roadmaps to move equipment and operations to new locations with zero downtime.
- Vendor Logistics: Coordinate directly with external partners to ensure secure, error-free, and timely transport of biometric devices and hardware.
- Risk & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary planning liaison with the National ID (NID) authority. Identify operational bottlenecks and maintain a robust RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) log.
- Data & Analytics: Deliver data-driven insights and operational metrics to optimize ongoing planning processes.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgets for site setups and device relocation, tracking variances and ensuring cost-effective resource utilization.
