Job Summary

The MIS coordinator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and delivering accurate, timely, and secure management information to support operational and strategic decision-making across the National ID (NID) Registration Program. The role ensures data integrity, performance visibility, and actionable insights through dashboards and reports, and supports continuous performance improvement across field and headquarters teams.

Job Description

Position Title: MIS Coordinator

Key accountabilities: 
  • Manage and maintain the Management Information System (MIS) for the NID registration program.
  • Collect, consolidate, and analyze registration data, metrics, and KPIs from field and HQ sources.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, security, and integrity across all MIS outputs.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance trackers for different management levels.
  • Provide timely analytical insights to support operational reviews and management decisions.
  • Support performance monitoring by highlighting trends, gaps, and risks in registration activities.
  • Coordinate with planning, operations, and regional teams to ensure reliable data flow and reporting alignment.
  • Key deliverables: Daily/weekly/periodic registration performance reports; executive dashboards and KPI summaries; data validation and quality assurance checks; management-level insights to guide corrective actions.
  • Stakeholder interaction: NID Project Management; HQ Planning and Operations Teams; Regional Operations and Coordinators; partner MIS and reporting teams, IT Support

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

  • Planning and organizing; attention to detail; stakeholder management; delivering to deadlines; problem solving and decision support.
  • Ability to simplify complex data into clear visuals; continuous improvement mindset; proposes automation and standardization of reporting.
  • Understanding of large-scale field operations and performance management (KPIs, targets, productivity); knowledge of data governance and confidentiality in identity/registration contexts.
  • Working with Change
  • Adapts to changing reporting needs; manages version control and change requests; supports training and adoption of tools and reporting standards.
  • Supports routine performance reviews (daily/weekly); tracks action points; maintains reporting calendars and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data submission and validation.

Functional Competencies:

  • Advanced Excel; experience with databases and data cleaning (e.g., SQL); dashboarding/BI tools (e.g., Power BI or equivalent); data quality assurance; report writing and data visualization; information security and access controls.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in MIS/reporting, data management, or performance monitoring (experience in field programs preferred).

Desired

  • Experience with large-scale registration/ID ,strong Excel & Power BI skills; knowledge of data protection standards and incident reporting.

KPI:

  • Accuracy and timeliness of MIS reports.
  • Reliability and usability of dashboards for decision-making.
  • Compliance with data governance and security standards.
  • Effective support to operational performance improvement (actions informed by insights).
