We are looking for a Trade Development Representative to act as the liaison between our Distribution, Marketing, and Sales teams. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers and maintain the existing customers.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until you close the deal. You will also be requiring ensuring proper visibility and branding of the services and products. Present our company product and services to potential clients
Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services

Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
Possessing excellent knowledge to enhance customer support
“Getting the sale” using various customer sales methods
Forecasting sales, developing “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluating their effectiveness
Evaluating customers skills, needs and building productive long lasting relationships
Report and provide feedback to immediate supervisors using financial statistical data
Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory
BA in Marketing, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Sales, Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering and related fields
A minimum of 2 years' experience.
Experience in team building, leading and related tasks are preferable.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven work experience as a Trade Development Representative, or similar role
Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
Track record of achieving sales quotas
Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
Understanding of sales performance metrics
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to deliver engaging presentations
Knowledge of mediation and conflict resolution techniques is preferable.
Excellent oral and written English skills, Amharic and the local language.
